Answers: St. Josephs oratory, la ronde is an amusement park, schwarz's has the best smoked meat sandwiches you'll ever eat in your life no joke, botanical gardens and thats all i can remember.
If you are coming to Montreal with children, here are a few things I would suggest:
On Wednesdays and Saturdays during July, Montreal has an international fireworks competition. There are also some other interesting events that you may want to go see, such as the Lion King musical, and the show Cavalia which offers a series of trained horses performing tricks.

La Ronde-Six Flags is an amusement park located on an island in Montreal Harbor. It has a water slides park, various rides, and of course mandatory cotton candy and popcorn.
The Old Port of Montreal may not be that exciting for kids, but they may like the caleche rides. It is a horse-drawn carriage that takes you on a tour of Old Montreal. There is also a science center and IMAX theater in the Old Port area, and places to rent bikes, roller blades, and such. A couple of ice cream parlors for those hot days to sit and grab something cold. Try a "beavertail", a sweet donut-like pastry that can have caramel, chocolate, cinnamon, or apple on top.
In the eastern part of Montreal in the former Olympic center, one of the buildings is now called the Biodome. This is a really exciting and interesting place for children and adults. The buiding is divided into three sections, recreating a tropical forest, temperate forest, and the Antarctic. You get to see animals up close, birds, fish, and plants. The penguins are a big hit with small kids, and the penguins often get a kick out of following the kids around (on the other side of the glass of course).

The Botanical Gardens and the Insectarium are interesting for older kids and adults. At certain times of the year, they have special events there such as to try some edible plants, see the butterflies, or even try chocolate coated ants or grasshoppers!

Not that far outside Montreal, there is Granby Zoo and Parc Safari wild animal park. Granby Zoo is a traditional zoo with animals in cages and pens that you walk around to see each species. Parc Safari is a larger place, where many of the animals roam free, and you drive yoir car through various sectors to see the monkeys, rhinos, lions, etc.
There are also various museums and churches with beautiful interiors, but these places are less attractive to young children and they may get bored very easily. Maybe the McCord Museum would be interesting for kids with its dinosaur skeletons and mummies. Not sure about the other ones.
One of the people above me mentioned about the old port and they have the labyrinth there. It's really fun for kids its a themed maze that they have every summer. I've gone every year since I was 4 or 5 and it was never boring.
